Christmas is coming to Severna Park this Friday, Dec. 6! Be sure and visit SPAN at both of these events. SPAN will be collecting hats, gloves, scarves and socks of all sizes at the Chamber. Then at Park Plaza, SPAN will be collecting cash donations in exchange for photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus!
From 5-6:30, there will be a Tree Lighting and open house at the Greater Severna Park & Arnold Chamber of Commerce, complete with the Grinch, entertainment, a DJ, goodies, and more! Then head over to see the model trains. The Tree Lighting will be at 5:30 at 1 Holly Avenue in Severna Park. Bring warm hats, gloves, scarves, and socks to donate to SPAN.
At 6:00 at Park Plaza, Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive by firetruck, but you can arrive early if you want to get a head start on your scavenger hunt! This celebration will have its own Tree Lighting, raffles and prizes, and entertainment by local musical groups and performers. And of course don't forget to get your photo taken with Santa at The Honey Baked Ham Company (Severna Park - 560-H Ritchie Hwy). Photos are free with a donation to SPAN.
